Über mich

Christine and I have planned our trip to the Mediteranean for some time, now we have made a committment to start our adventure in the Spring of 2010.

On Saturday 10th. October 2009, Fandango is crained out into our usual storage place and we start the preparation for next years trip. Only 6 months to go now and lots to do.

Our preferred names are ‘Chris and Chris’.

Segelerfahrungen

Chris and I have sailed together for the past 20 years and are currently the proud owners of FANDANGO.

We have sailed mainly in the UK and in particular in the Tremadoc Bay area of North Wales, but also Southern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Mid Wales, Pembrokeshire and the South Coast including Padstow, Penzance, Falmouth and Fowey.

We both are holders of the Yachtmaster theory qualification and have recently completed the ICC and CEVNI qualification in preparation for this trip.

We are looking forward to extending our sailing experience into the French Canals and onto the Mediterranean.

Hi Chris and Chris Sorry about delay in reply but wifi has been erratic and computer incompetence has been active. Our plan was to return through the french cannals but that was 7 years ago and it it is not likely in the forseeable future Slowly learning how to use Tripsailor Will keep in touch. The book you bought ‘Through the French Canals’ is invaluable as we used this in conjunction with the navicarte/fluvicarte guides but don’t believe everything you read – sometimes the stopping places are too shallow or suitable for smaller boats. We had a VNF license for 6 weeks and that included the two hold ups of 19 days in total. There are some really lovely places along the canals and rivers. Glad you are enjoying reading my blog
