    Hi Ron and Sue We are slowly getting the hang of tripsailor. We coast hopped all the way from Porthmadog to Mallorca where we are at present. We have had a super trip down and seen a lot Unless you have time constraints don´t rush see the coast all the way. Portugal is well worth the wair. We stalled for 4 winters in Lagos and had difficulty tearing away but glad we did. have thoroughly enjoyed Spain and the Balearics. Will evemntually update our blog.     Hi Chris and Chris Sorry about delay in reply but wifi has been erratic and computer incompetence has been active. Our plan was to return through the french cannals but that was 7 years ago and it it is not likely in the forseeable future Slowly learning how to use Tripsailor Will keep in touch. Hi Both – Thanks for your response. We always said we won’t be restricted to a plan but now torn as to dash down to Portugal for the winter or coast hop which would probably mean we would have to winter in Northern Spain (we will have to stay with the boat as our house is rented for this winter at least). It’s early days yet but finding it very quiet, due we expect to the credit crunch (France is very expensive now and not many Brits about, plus our French is virtually non-existent! We are hoping that our next hop to the Morbihan Bay and into Vannes will help us focus on what to do. Hi Pauline and Alan – ex Sumain and Eala Bhan we are now Silver Cloud – held up in Padstow awaiting navigational problem to be solved but heading for Portugal a.s.a.p. Hope you have left us a space to winter on the Algarve.

Hi Alan and Pauline, We heard from Lorraine Briggs that you had been talking and that we were mentioned, so having seen you on the tripsailor site, we thought we would take the opportunity to re aquaint ourselves. We are Chris and Chris late of SPLATZ now of Fandango Porthmadog. We hope to join you ‘travellers’ next spring. We plan to go through the French Canals from Le Havre to Port Napoleon as soon as possible after we lift in next spring. We hope you are doing okay. We were behind you in Mailspeed Warrington earlier this year but you were heavily into conversation so didnt interrupt.
