Back across to the Hamble.

It is a Sunday afternoon, the water is smooth and the power-boaters are out playing.

Rushing around on the plane, generating lots of wash and in some cases cutting very close to slower vessels.

I do get annoyed sometimes, especially when they cut in so close!

All it takes is someone to be down below making drinks with a kettle of boiling water and then suddenly the the boat is tossed around like a leaf in the wind. 

Accidents do happen!

Anyway rant over, and its down to 6 knots for the trip up the Hamble and time to get the fenders and mooring warps ready.

In, moored up, springs on and that is the end of another trip.

Would I do the race again? Yes please!

We check the results web page and we were 767th out of 850 in our section of the fleet and 118th out of 165 in our start. Not bad but we might do even better next time….
