At 7am we have already checkout of our boat and at 8am everybody seats in the car starting the journey back home.

We decided to spend the day till lunch in the very nice city in Rab and use this time for shopping, sightseeing and of course to fill up our water tanks and clean the boat a bit.

At noon we started and sailed with very nice wind to NW in another wonderful bay of Rab called Sv. Mara.

Tuesday morning offered some rain and thunderstorm. However we had to pass the turning bridge in Mali at 9am and so we started early to be in time.

Passing the bridge we saw already the rough sea on the other side of Losinj. The boat were catched immediately from strong waves and wind. Bringing out our sails were not that easy but then the speed jumped to almost 7 kn and few of us were a bit (or very) afraid about the strong heeling of the boat.

Unfortunately some of us got a bit sick but in the afternoon the wind calm down and we used our sails and motor to continue our way to the island of Rab.

The afternoon we enjoyed swimming in the bay Planka and all of us recovered form sickness.

Late afternoon we arrived to the village of Rab where our friends were already waiting for us in the Marina.

Rab is a very nice old village with a lot of restaurants and shops. Especially the romantic views with the lights in the evening impressed all of us.

We had dinner together and afterwards we even shaked a leg and had a lot of fun with our crazy “Vespa driver” Nathan :-)

We started at 11am with the plan to sail to Rab. On our way we change the target to Mali Losinj as the weather on Rab did not loo like as nice as the weather more far away from mainland.

So we turned and passed Losinj in the south to have a stop for swimming in the wonderful Bay Krivica.

Late afternoon we finished our trip and arrived in the harbour of the main village Mali Losinj.

Mali Losinj offers a lot of possibilities to find good restaurants and we choose one very good one which we already know from one of our previouse törns. Finally we took a walk through the village and visited the “artistic” ice cream shop to have a show of flying icecream balls.

Our target for today is Bay Martinscica on the island Cres. To come there we have to pass the turning bridge in Osor at 5pm.

After a quiete night, good breakfast and morning swim in the nice bay we left Portic at 11am.

Perfectly in time we passed the bridge in Osor at 5pm and arrived in another wonderful bay at Cres.

During the day we were able to catch a nice wind for family sailing and we definitely enjoyed the sunny day. Even at evening a jump to the refreshing water is still possible befor we celebrate the end of the day with dinner and drinks.

Together with our friends on the second yacht we started from Veruda at 6pm to go for anchor at 8pm in Bay Portic.

Already on this first trip we tried our sails but wind was to weak to get enough speed. Finally we arrived with motor in our target bay. The weather is still perfect here in Croatia and the evening we enjoyed with swimming, nice dinner and some drinks before we went to sleep.
