Well we made it!  Florida!!!  Goodbye winter, for awhile, anyway!  We’ve been talking about getting a sailboat and living aboard while we sail the world for a couple years now.  Mostly it was “someday” talk and we never really took it too seriously until a few months ago.  It turns out the winds were in our favor and our new adventure was born!  We’ve been from one coast to the other and many points in between in the last month, with last visits of the family and friends, to a supermarket sweep style storage unit raid, to packing our poor Honda completely full for her last big push to the shore.  We are currently living in our friends’ garage (by choice, of course) while we search for our new home.  Already, we are making so many great plans, like brewing some beer for Butch’s Beer Garden, sailboat shopping/beachtime/fish market excursions near the coast and a whole LOTTA new recipes and home cooking!!  Trying to post the unpacking video, but it looks like I gotta shorten it to no longer than 1 minute… not gonna happen tonight, garlic chicken salad here we come!
